AWESOME THRIFT STORE FIND!!

Look at my new find!
(insert Happy Dance!!)
The basket was the first thing that caught my eye....
Then I realized there was a bike attached to it!
A Chippy White Vintage Bike!
(insert freak out here!)
Isn't she the cutest thing?
The tires were flat~but Mr. OTM had the day off yesterday and surprised me with new inner tubes ( just love him ) and now she is good to go!
I took her for a spin this morning.
The air was crisp..
The birds were chirping...
My lungs were on fire....
My legs were throbbing...

But I know this is going to be the BEST 40.00 bucks I ever spent!
Even if it does wind up as a giant planter (that basket is huge!!)
Just kiddin....
maybe
*wink*

  1. Good find Beth, I have been looking for one ever since I saw one in a garden in one of my decorating magazines . It was so cute and had been compleatly painted white with baskets on the front and back filled with over flowing flowers.

  17. $40? Wow! These bikes in the crappiest of conditions (as in rust with wheels) go for AT LEAST that at auction. You lucky girl. She sure is pretty!

  18. How awesome to decorate for the seasons. The white is perfect for Christmas - add some greens and ribbons and you're good to go. I spotted one of these a few years ago at at a yard sale and wanted to get it. But alas, my hubby was along and said 'no'. He didn't see the potential...
