Today was filled with a dentist appt.~ hair appt. and some booth foofing,
but I still managed to get in a thrift store while I had 15 minutes to kill.
And this is what I found.
And this is what I found.
Isn't she adorable? And I had the car...not the truck. This was one of those "I don't care if I rip the leather seats in the car kinda deal !" ~ This was goin home with me!
THANKFULLY I didn't have to resort to anything drastic in the parking lot while I was trying to load it up. I didn't attract an audience or anything. { Don't laugh...it's happened.}
Anyway, it's hard to tell from the picture but she sits low and has a low back. Not as tall as a regular wing back is. She's short....like me {with cuter legs!}
Her fabric has a rustic nubby texture.
AND...
It's in great shape....no saggy seat
NO stinky smells....
Not a thing to be done!
She is going to be going to Nashville for the Bella Rustica Barn Sale!
She's ecstatic!
As if that wasn't enough~ I had to run into Wal-Mart today. The thing about Wal-Mart is that one minute you're buying kidney beans and laundry detergent and then on the way to grab some hair gel you spot
THIS!
Too dang cute for words!
I threw it into the cart~
Not even looking at the price
and when I did...
it wasn't too bad~ $13.88.
Worth every penny I think!
Sooooo I had a pretty fun day {except the dentist which wasn't THAT bad if I had to be honest...I did have a piece of tartar come up and hit me in the eye but all's well! Good grief it felt HUGE but I actually got to see it after it landed on my dentist bib and it was a speck! Are you still reading this ? WHY? lol!)
I am excited to be linking this post up to the FABULOUS Kathleen's White Wednesday over at Faded Charm as well as Miss Mustard Seed Furniture Feature Friday. For more beautiful INSPIRATION and less tartar talk...hop on over.
You will be SOOOO glad you did!

Cute chair and the perfect color too! Who knew Walmart had such cute pillows? (I also seem to have things jump in the cart there that weren't on my list).

What a gorgeous chair...the fabric is very unique and I bet it was used as a bedroom or dressing room chair from your description.

ReplyDeleteHi Beth, just had to tell you a funny story. A gal from Charlotte came into my shop today and we were talking about other prim shops. I asked her if she had been to your's and she said, "See this sunburn, it's from being at Beth's on Sunday!" Her name is Cindy Austin and she said to tell you, "You are famous as the junque queen even in Michigan!" What a small world!! Hopefully I can get down there before winter. Have a great weekend, Dawn
ReplyDeleteHa! You crack me up. (And I thought I went off on tangents. Hehe!) Love the chair but I don't think it wants to go to the Rustic Barn Sale...it wants to come with you to New York so I can meet you and take it off your hands. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a deal Beth!!
ReplyDeleteI was just about to say out loud geeze she may not have to do a thing to the chair, but maybe clean it, and this is when I read the same from you that you did not need to do a thing to it!
I was in Walmart for random things and spotted the throw pillows you featured from the better homes and garden line, I have to agree that, that line of pillows at walmart are just to darn cute!!
I love the armless wing chair, perfectly sweet :)
Have a beautiful weekend!
xx
