You've Gotta Know!!

Happy Thursday Friends!

I wanted to THANK YOU all so much who read yesterdays post. I will update everyone as soon as I hear something.

Today's post has got my wheel's turnin! My GARDENING wheels! My first daffodil opened up yesterday and that's all it takes for me to start dreaming about my gardens and what I plan to do this year.

Here are TWO AWESOME publications you gotta know about if you don't already.

First up is another book in the series by Judy Condon titled Simply Country Gardens. You open the first page and realize you are in for a treat. Just page after page of the most wonderful gardens in full color! And here is something exciting~ I am so proud to say that one of my very own dear customers Sherrie Hinson {no blog....yet *wink*...I'm trying} is FEATURED! Her gardens are worthy of a magazine and I am thrilled for her that she is in this awesome book. She also makes the most beautiful note cards with pictures of her home and gardens and I sell them at the shop. One talented lady for sure!

My friend Sue from Vintage Rescue Squad recently told me about this magazine she found at Target! She told me to go buy it so I did...no questions asked~ didn't even do the ole "flip thru" before I put it in the cart. SOOOO GLAD I DID! You've got to love a mag that states it has "376 Bargain Ideas" plus AMAZING RE-DO'S and "junk to gem favorites!!! GO now and get one....you'll be glad you did! I was hoping to grab a Flea Market Style mag while I was there but they didn't have them...{sad face}!
Anyway, once you get these and get inspired , you'll never forgive me because I've just made your junk addiction worse! HA! Now I've given you even more reasons to go thrifting, and to yard sales and flea markets! I really think you should all just thank me and be on your way
{ and pick me up } and we'll go together!!
Happy Junkin you Nuts!

  4. These are gorgeous publications. Another one I'd like to recommend is "Garden Gate." I've been receiving all those wonderful seed catalogs in the mail for about a month, and I'm also itching to get outside in the flower beds and garden. Thanks for the tip! I'm off to find these!

  6. Found Flea Market Gardens when I was stalking Barnes & Noble waiting for Flea Market Style to come out! Great magazine. Our daffodils started coming out the other day but I went ahead and bought a few bunches of them for vases around the home so at least it's Spring INside!

  14. You got a Daffodil and I got 12 inches of snow. Wahhhh! A green thumb I do not have (mostly because my soil in non-compliant) but I will have to pick up Flea Market Gardens. I have Flea Market Style and what a fantastic read that is!
