WORD OF WARNING!!

DO NOT READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO BED!
GOOD GRIEF was that a mistake!!!
I got all fired up about all of the great ideas , the next thing you know I am out in the garage rooting around for an old mail bag (11:30pm) and an old wire shopping cart that I know I've got! I found the bag no problem but around 12:30 I realized I was using the cart at the shop. Trust me.....I gave serious thought about hopping in the car to go get it! If you haven't seen the adorable idea on page 8 yet.....welllllll trust me , once you do you'll see why I was all excited to get one done ASAP!Soooooo, since I was still all geared up and not a bit sleepy, I got on the ole computer and visited all the blogs they mentioned and took a cruise around Etsy. I finally looked at the clock and it said 2:41! Geez Louise! I could have kept going a bit longer but my bum was gettin numb on my old office chair so I finally decided to call it a night.
So PLEASE take my advice....Read this bad boy when you are alert, fully dressed and can make a little noise because you can't help but get inspired and will want to get creating right then and there! Don't say I didn't warn ya!!! :0)
Off to the shop to pick up that cart!!

  9. They really outdid themselves with this issue. I read it yesterday when we were out and about. I kept forgetting to look for estate sale signs until Cat Daddy threatened to roll up my mag and spank me with it!

  11. I sell this magazine so I have been studying it since before Valentine's Day...what a great issue!! So many good ideas -trying to remember how many times I was "mentally" kicking myself while reading as I saw great ideas that I overlooked at the flea markets!! Pitter-patter be still my heart!!!

  12. Oh Gosh!! Beth,
I felt the same way about the caddy with wheels and the mail bag, I have none of them always wanted an old one but never got around to finding one! Of course I was reading it about 12:00 AM and could not sleep after seeing the dream cart on wheel raring to go on a great flea market trip, or just sitting in the corner in my kitchen inspiring me! :)

I am with you girl! If I had these items tucked away in my garage or storage I'd of been up all night finishing it.

I really cannot wait to see yours.
Thank you, and no thanks for putting this back on my mind...LOL!!! (Smiling)

    xoxo

  13. You are too funny. I know exactly what you are talking about. I make my own inserts but that one is really great! A cart just has to be 'dressed' with something fabulous. Have fun with the rest of the magazine:) Only read it during the day;)

  16. Love it! I got the magazine - I have two carts (one has large pieces of wool in it in my studio and one has old linen tablecloths and chennile bedspreads in it in my bedroom) - no idea where to get the mail bags but next day I found very large canvas bags at Salvation Army from an old manufacturing plant and i think they will work. Now to decide which cart to unload!! Love that magazine.

  20. How true it is. I used to look through magazines to get wound down to go to bed, not any more. It just gets the creative juices flowing and no sleep will come.

Very good advise, Daylight and clothing are really good to have when creating.

So glad you are enjoying the projects and the magazine.
