Hello Friends!

How was your day? Mine was a tad nuts.

My first stop was to go get a new fan for the computer. The thing sounded like a plane taking off. I assumed that wasn't good~ so I took the old one out ( with some help from Mr.OTM) and aahhhhhhh......it's so nice to sit here a type this post without it sounding like I'm at the airport!

The rest of the day was just typical crazy. Mondays are my "running around like a lunatic" day trying to cram all the necessary day to day stuff into one day. You know...bank, post office, grocery shopping.........you get the picture. Usually I don't work at the shop on Mondays but I wanted to get in there today because I've got a LOT of work to do!

Old habits die hard and I found myself unloading the trailer into the truck , then taking the stuff out of the truck into the shop. Finally a light bulb went off and I came up with the brilliant idea to

JUST TAKE THE WHOLE TRAILER TO THE SHOP AND UNLOAD IT THERE!

Duh.

So that's what we did on Saturday. We got it all unloaded and the stuff was just sitting willy nilly all over the place. So I went in today so I could get some displays done because THIS WEEKEND is SUNDAY at the MARKETPLACE and I want ALL THE NEW JUNK OUT AND PRICED!

So here's a little sneak peek of some of the displays that we have goin on! Please limit your drive up transactions to 3 minutes. I don't want to have to tell you again.

Hello everybody! Bout time for some ShopKeeper Sunday photos don't cha think?

For the first time ever I remembered my camera AND actually TOOK photos with it of our day!

Quite a monumental achievement~ at least for me.

I just wanted to share with you what ShopKeeper Sunday is all about and to THANK all the VENDORS and CUSTOMERS that make it happen. We all had a great day and here's your chance to share in all of it! ENJOY!This is what we were blessed with at the start of our day. Mr. OTM pulled over so I could hop out and take a picture of this beautiful sunrise on the way to the shop. I got goosebumps it was so pretty.

My FAVORITE VENDOR~ Russ AKA Mr. OTM!! He can cook a MEAN BBQ!

Tammy says she comes just to eat first then hope to sell later! Roger here is a professional antiquer and can be caught at local garage sales all summer long!

Looks like the caramel apples were a HIT!

Pickles and Boobie Bibs on the front porch!!

Cars overflowing with purchases!

These two ladies had a big brawl in the parking lot over the same item! Both wound up with ice bags on their boo-boos! LOL! Wouldn't that be something? Actually one had a tumble on a bench and the bench hit the other on the foot~ Thank goodness nothin serious and they were kind enough to let me take their picture for the blog! We have got to have the BEST customers on earth! Lookin good ladies!!

This was by far one of the BEST days ever. I had the chance to go live on the radio this past week and did a Business Profile interview and was able to PLUG PLUG PLUG the event and the shop! The customers came out like crazy and everybody had a great time. For those that live to far away, I sure hope you enjoyed the pics!

The only thing that I hate about seeing ShopKeeper Sunday end for the season is that means that Christmas is right around the corner and OH~ THE ~ WORK~ AHEAD!!

A Whirwind Weekend!!

My OH My did this weekend FLY by! I gotta tell ya all about it!

Okay..here goes...

*Friday*

Got the shop all set for the Boll Weevil Festival ~

had a freezer delivered for all the ice cream~

all the mums arrived to fill the porch~

wreaths were made~

went to dinner~

got engaged~

went to Wal Mart~

came home to bake Easy Apple Turnovers for the Pilot Club Bake Sale!

WHAT???? Yep..you read it right...I GOT ENGAGED!!!! Mr.OTM popped the question right there in the middle of our favorite Italian restaurant Mama Lena's!! I cried~ the waitresses were crying~ the owner Raymond came out with a huge delicious bottle of Ballatore Champagne!

What a night! I have been on cloud nine since! We have both been down the aisle before and we know we want something small but boy will it be fun planning what it is! Bringing our families together will be the best part! Oh I cannot wait!

Okay so onto the rest of the weekend! The Boll Weevil Festival was AWESOME! We always see a ton of folks though the shop that day and love chatting it up with everybody! My arm hurt from scooping ice cream!

This weekend coming up will be a BLAST for SURE! Friday and Saturday is our HARVEST TYME at the MARKETPLACE FROM 11-6 and SUNDAY is another SHOPKEEPER SUNDAY with the best vendors on earth!

As a little teaser, I am going to show you pictures all week of the shop all decked out for fall!
