Inhale and Say Ahhhhhh & My Give Away Winner!

First off...WHO forgets to draw the winner for HER own give-away?
THAT would be ME!
Between a busy day at the shop yesterday and a birthday party last night...
I plum forgot! (oops!)
So with out any further lame excuses...
The WINNER EXTRODINAIRE IS:
Laurie from Heavens Walk!
Laurie's number was chosen by Random.org.
(I have no idea how to show that result here on the ole blog..sorry!)
CONGRATS LAURIE! Get in touch with me and shoot me over your info!
Now to the Inhale and Say Ahhhhhhhh part of this post.
Take a look at the photo below.......
Do I need to explain? Picture me with my nose stuck in these plants for the past few days!
(what a vision huh?)
OH * THE * SCENT*!!!
Bliss is all I can say!
I was so happy to get to the green house the other day and see rows of wonderful Herbs!
I grabbed plenty to make up my herb baskets for the Open House this weekend.
Sweet Basil (another good smelly!), garlic chives, ornamental oregano, thyme, curly parsely!
Be sure to get there early if you want one of these because they always sell out quick.
Once I got to the greenhouse , I didn't want to leave. It felt so good in there. All the hanging baskets still have some growing to do but you can be sure I will be back...probably more than once.
ANYONE INTERESTED in an HERB DAY at the shop? We are planning to have one in April!
*You will be able to put together your own herb basket
*Demonstrations using Herbs in recipes
*Take home info on how to care for Herbs and how to cook with them
You can sign up here on the blog....
Email me.....
Sign up at the shop...
Cost is $15.00
Time to go sniff the lavender again.........!

I thought of you yesterday when I was out thrifting and had to borrow a measuring tape from the front desk, LOL

Wish I lived close to you. Would love to learn more about herbs, especially to have in the windowsill. I do very well with outside plants, but inside.... oh my.

So jealous...herbs here should be ready to purchase in the next week or two. I have my Herb Faire starting the first week in May...might still be a bit cool here in PA! (I treid to get a "whiff" from your pictures but it didn't work :( Judy

Congratulations to the winner. I would love to learn about herbs too. Wish we lived close enough to attend. Can't wait to have lavender to sniff away the worries.

Mmmmmmm!!!!! Loving those herbs, Beth! I can just smell them now..... :) I can hardly wait til I can dance out to our garden to pick bundles of them for our salads. :)

THANK YOU for hosting this sweet giveaway, too! I'm so excited to have won! It was such a nice surprise to see my name there after getting home from vacation! :)
