Booth Junk!

Hello Friends!

Today was all about JUNK.

Loading, lifting, hauling, moving, pushing, rearranging and displaying

JUNK!

My booth at The Depot has needed some TLC since the holidays have come and gone and

today was THE day.

I have recently been fortunate to find some killer pieces that just begged to go in this booth.

Take exhibit A for example......

This chippy cubby.

It's previous life was holding shoes at the thrift shop.

Now it's the star of the show. It won the cubby lottery!

I am in love with this thing and while I was working the booth a prop guy from HBO was already asking about it and snapping pics.

I can see it now:

TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY: THE CUBBYYes that's a pig. In a wire basket with buckets and a garden tool tote and a paint scraper.

Somehow it works.

Okay....now here we go with the SUPER AWESOME mustard painted chippy cupboard.
LOVE!
I WISH I had a place for this in my house. There is blue and green paint under the mustard.
ahhhhhhh.....chippy euphoria!
The fern is from my friend Andrea a few booths down. They add the PERFECT touch to any display and are the most well behaved house plant ever.
Better than artificial even cuz they flutter in the breeze.

Some super genius {not me} took the end of a broken up crate and apparently had eggs to sell.
So BAM.....out comes the cutest sign.
.15 cents a doz. The good....ole......days......

and then we have the lovely little farmhouse scale.
Perfect to weigh jelly beans or hamburger patties.
Whatever you prefer.

It was a looooong and busy day.
I love a great booth make-over and feel good when I get in lots of great stuff.
Hopefully none of it will last long!

Big Booth Make-over

As I type this post...it's late.

I can hear an owl in the distance softly hooting....

and he's making me sleepy!

I better get a wiggle on!

Since my booth spaces are such a large part of my business and alot of time is devoted to keeping them up,

I feel like you need to see what I am up to with them on occassion!

This past Tuesday , I called up my girl Wendy to see if she was willing to help me totally revamp my big booth at The Depot.

A total revamp make-over to me consists of moving around every single piece of furniture~

bringing in a TON of new product~

and giving the space a FRESH new look.

Plus some serious sweeping.......lots of sweeping!

Enjoy your look around....

My "theme" for this make-over was........
Rustic Fall Farmhouse.

It was a fun day!

(sorry bout the Aquafina bottle and business card boxes)

Dance Hall sign is a fav....

along with this old rusty chuppy crusty iron seat (that has already SOLD!)

LOVE this old general store scale!

This is my favorite piece that I brought in......

Broad View Trailer Park!!!!

Priceless!!

The owl has gotten the best of me and I am off to call it a day.

I hope you enjoyed your booth tour as much as I enjoyed working on it!

The fall color pallet is one of my favorites to do.

Thank You!

Tons of Bigger Booth Pics!

Good Morning Friends!
As promised here are some pics....ALOT of pics of my bigger , expanded booth at
The Depot! It didn't take me as long as I thought it would to pull it all together.....

I didn't have a plan or layout in mind at all.....

I just winged it and hoped I had room for everything....

My goal was to keep it "clean"....

I didn't want to overload it with alot of clutter....

I wanted you to be able to see the small stuff....

like these.....

and these....

but also the big stuff....

here are my hunky six pack burlap boys ....

lookin all fine as a table top display....

who doesn't need a hunky mannequin on their dining room table right?

New to the booth are some wonderful jewelry pieces....
some recycled glass cloches...

but I am totally diggin the jewelry....

can you tell?

These pages fell out of the book Mr. OTM was reading so they made it into the display....

These little cloches are dang cute...

fern garden English Staffordshire plates....

old chippy coal scuttle...

this is an old check in stand from a Boy Scout camp....

one of my favorite pieces cuz it's so different....

coal scuttle + free branches = super easy centerpiece

{tweet}

and there you have it! I am loving the additional space. I went from a 7 x 13 to a 7 x 26 and it's amazing what a difference it makes. Heck...I used to live in a 14 x 70 so I felt like I was back in the day!
Just a quick note to thank all of my wonderful followers, customers and fans who help to make all this possible. I honestly enjoy putting this all together for you and appreciate all your comments and encouragement!
Hope your day is super.
