JUNK for CHRISTMAS!!

Soooooo...tell me...really....what's on your Christmas list this year???
Do you dare to put JUNK right at the top??
You know you wanna.
Just do it.....
and see what happens!
Look at this load I brought into the shop today......
If some one bought me an old chippy crusty rusty faded blue keg like that......
I would flip out!!!
Have you ever received a FAB piece of junk for Christmas??
I'd love to know all about it!
Do share!!!

I recieved a wonderful old vintage olive oil can for christmas one year from my sister-in-law. I was thrilled and she had found it in a barn she was helping a friend clean out. When she ask them how much they wanted for it they told to "just take that old thing". She was single mom working 2 jobs and wanted to give us something for christmas but we had told her not to spend on us, just on the kids.
Merry Christmas!

While taking short cut through an alley one year, my husband found a small axel with two wooden spoked wheels. He knew instinctively that I would love it. Heavy and filthy, he took his find to the car wash and cleaned off this old treasure. He got a huge plastic bag meant for kids' big toys, and struggled to get the wheels and axel into it. This gift for me didn't fit under the tree, so he put it in the middle of the living room that Christmas morning. How special it was for me to open the mysterious and largest gift that year, but it is even more special to look at that gift now turned into a small cart with a large box for planting flowers as it sits in the garden. My husband is now deceased, so looking at that cart is even more special than these words can explain.

many many moons ago my sister- in -law gave me a dark green lantern that she dressed up with a rag tie and raffia bow and made a tag from a brown paper bag well the tag has been history but i still love that lantern, it became the beginning of a wonderful collection of days gone by.
