A NEW "ROOM CHANGING" PIECE!!!!

WOW!! Would ya look at what just came into the shop!!!! It is an old apothacary with.....get this....24 drawers!! Each drawer has it's own original porcelain knob and some of them have old labels on along the tops. Right now I just have it sitting on the counter and while it doesn't look bad there I have visions of it all over the shop. I LOVE this piece and have been wishing for one of these for ages!. I can already predict that this is going to be one of those "room changing"pieces.....you know the kind....you get this great item and you start walking around the house and deciding where to put it and the next thing you know the living room has now become the bedoom and the dining room has been moved into the den and so on ....you get the picture!! LOL!! I know that has to happen others...not just me! But I can also see that , while I might move this baby around a dozen or so times in the shop...it's likely to end up right back here on the counter where it started!! Whatever the case maybe ...it's gonna be fun! Hope your day is great!!!

OMG! I don't even know how you could keep that in your shop and not bring it home!
I can think of a dozen places in my home that I could put that! Let me take it home so that I can experiment with it for a while!
What a great piece!

Oh, my goodness, if that was mine I could never sell it. Even if I didn't have room, I would make room. Awesome treasure you have got there.

Hmmmm....will be interesting to see what you do with it...what will you put in the drawers if you keep it ??? I have two olde pieces with drawers (24 in one and 30 in the other) BUT no one ever goes in the drawers unless I leave them pulled out. One I use as a candy counter and those drawers are always open but the other (9 ft. counter with 24 drawers on one side and doors on the other side) no one hardly ever opens the drawers - unless they ask where something is and I tell them in those drawers - they are all labeled. It is a great counter top though...LOL!! Love your apothecary - have fun with it! Judy

Oh yeah, that wouldn't last very long in my shop before I would be forced to give it a place in my home! It's a great find!

Okay, you would like to play along with the letter game? How about the letter "F"? Hope that's not too hard! I tried to find one that wasn't hard that I haven't given out!

Have a great weekend!

WOW-Really cool piece. Where in the world did you find that beauty?I think you should keep it for yourself for awhile. I know what you mean about the changing of the room. I hate when I have one place perfect and then need something to move somewhere else. Thats why I have so much stuff. LOL
