Hello friends!
I was recently on a mission......
For a good pair......(no scratch that) a GREAT PAIR of shoes.
I headed out Friday night...to the MALL (which is a huge deal cuz unless the word ANTIQUE is in front of MALL...I usually stay away.)
Now, one thing that I don't normally do is spend alot of money on myself.
This had to be an exception. I am on my feet ALOT and with the holidays coming and the shop needing decorating and my current pair of shoes are in the process of loosing the left heel~ I knew I needed to make an investment.
And so I did......
in THESE!I was introduced to Alegria Shoes and I am never looking back.
Oh~My~Gosh~Golly.
Do you have a pair of these?
Am I like that only person to not own these yet?
THEY ARE AWESOME (and I am not being paid a single solitary cent for going on and on about um either. However, I am available to discuss opportunities....LOL!)
They are worth every penny (110.00 worth of pennies) but I am thrilled that I bit the bullet and bought them. My legs, back, feet, earlobes, eyebrows, fingers, etc...all felt GREAT at the end of a "very busy on my feet all day" kind of day yesterday.
This is a great example of "getting what you pay for."
Don't get me wrong~ cheap shoes that look cute will still find a way into my life
BUT.......
I am officially an Alegria girl from here on out!!

I'm right there with ya... I'm on my feet all the time and with opening a second store for the holidays I can already feel the hurt! What store carries these shoes? I'm going to have to go on the hunt for them!
Hope the season treats you well!
Laurie :)
Those shoes looks sooooo comfortable. Now to track down who sells them.

Checked out the site. OOh, they sure have some great colours and awesome patterns! You mean they are even more comfortable than Borns? Sort of have a bit of "Earth Shoes" look?... hmmm, have to check them out some more..., thanks,
Well I've never heard of these shoes. I have lots of feet problems, so I truly believe in the investment of a good pair. They are cute...I'll have to check them out!
Blessings,
Susie
Well, I just might have to look into these. My right foot has really started hurting att he rnd of the day. Thanks for this post. Here's a site I found that may have them better priced:

Do they run true to size?
I pay a lot for comfy shoes as well, I have worn Danskos and Birkenstocks for years, I love them, worth every red cent for all day comfort. I just found the Alegrias myself and they are just as fabulous.
My goodness...they certainly aren't "cute" but at my age I'd rather have comfy than cute! LOL
Guess I'll have to check them out too...
Thanks,
Pam
I guess I'm kind of a certified shoe snob....Love Dansko's and Ariats....but have never heard of these....I'm sure it'll be decades (if then) that they arrive here in Nod, so I might just have to check them out online. Mamma ain't happy if her toesies aren't happy! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
I never heard about this butI will try ones. I am agree with you no matter what how much they cost, expensive or cheap, if your feet hurts your day will be miserable.
I just saw these for the first time on my friend's feet. (I don't shop much other than at antique mall and thrift stores.) She went on and on about them too. I guess wearing is believing in this case. Glad you love 'em!
That is great, I just bought my first pair this weekend. I am so excited because my one foot was hurting so bad. But now I want more that 1 pair!!

Beth thank you so much for posting about these shoes. I ordered a pair of beautiful purple ones on sale and I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM! I have been wearing haflingers which are really comfy but limited in style and color. These are my new best shoe of all time. No break-in and the roominess is wonderful. Going to buy more.
