Junk in my Booth!

Nothing can wipe out a booth display faster than selling a table....
Let alone selling TWO tables!
January must be TABLE MONTH here in North Carolina.
I like when big stuff sells cuz it forces you to re-do your booth!
That's just what I did yesterday in my booth at
* You get to rearrange*
*Bring in New Stuff*

*Add different focal points*

*Re-position current stuff*

*Show off new handmade items*

*Set up great vignettes*

*New stuff front and center*

*Chat with customers while you're there*

*Enjoy*

It also gives you the opportunity to buy more stuff!!! I sold a farm table in January, too. Is there a trend here?

Where is Sleepy Poet. I'm on the coast of NC and my booth is at Miss Minnie's Antiques in Shallotte, NC.

Yep, nothing will do it faster than selling a big piece. This happened to me the other day and I went into a panic to find some more stuff. People here are in a buying furniture mood for sure.

Love your booth by the way. It's full of wonderful stuff.

This reminded me of how I bought a table at the Country Living show in Stone Mtn GA last year and those poor folks had to redo their whole display!

Did you do the Country Living show last year? I just read that they are doing it again in Stone Mtn this October - I can't wait!

So true, so true! That happens to our booth too! I especially love helping customers. We had a sidewalk sale last year and it was SO fun to help everyone and sell our merch. We get to work in our space for 4 hours a month to lower the commission. Love your space, so perfectly fun!!

Wow, I just sold a big, black table too! Sure does change things up a bit, but that's good for us. Loved the pictures of your booth - everything looks great! Dawn

Your space looks adorable. You're so creative with displays. I hope you're right about it being table month, just took a cute green shabby table and chairs down to my booth at Seaside Sisters last weekend, and I've got another one waiting in the wings...

your class. Isn't it
great to take on a new

Going beyond AUTO and
wrapping your mind around
HOW the camera works?
So much fun that we are

Beth, been gonna pop in and say "hi", but haven't had a chance to play in blogland for awhile. Thanks for stopping by my blog :) and adding me to your blog roll. I wish I could come visit NC again, but my girlfriend moved and Sue W. hasn't been back for me to tag along with. I'll have to make a plan to come shop your great antique stores there. It might have to be by car so I can bring stuff back ;)

Your booth looks amazing! I would love to shop there, but I think I've told you that about 1000 times! lol! I would give anything if we could get some sales at our mall! Our mall is in a sad state right now! But I'm sure it's gonna pick up! (Please Lord)! Glad to hear that someone is selling!
