I was driving home from Wal -Mart the other day and as I was coming to a stop light I looked to my left and there was little wagon just sitting there waiting to take up space in a land fill! I got all flustered and had to figure out where to turn around the quickest while still obeying traffic laws and all that! She was painted all sorts of colors...purple, red, yellow, green you name it and she was filled with trash. PATHETIC to say the least! So here I am on the side of the road hoisting the wagon over one of the other garbage cans there and dumping out all the trash while the neighbors across the street are taking it all in. Well it was a quick trip home after that and I got into make over mode right away because I was so excited! She got a coat of ivory paint and then got sanded and stained! I left the handle the green color and thought it would look awesome on someones porch filled with flowers this summer! I think she looks alot better and am so glad I saved her from imminent doom! Hope you get some great "finds" this week too!

Rondell
I agree with Rondell! Red geraniums! Great find and recycle/redo!!
That was a great find and my first thought was to plant pansies in it!
Oh Wow! Oh Wow! Oh Wow!
What a WONDERFUL find!
It looks like it may have a bit of age(the style of the wheels)on it...I was just thinking how great it would look with some potted flowers in it for the summer...then I see Rondell's comment about the red geraniums...lol!!.....I totally agree!
Some of the Sweet Potato Vine(the lime green color)and/or Bacopa(white)would look pretty trailing over the edge of the pots along with those red geraniums....
You found a keeper for sure! :)
Enjoy it!!
I've done that so many times...been in spots where I could not even turn around...
I'm keeping my eyes peeled, the season is upon us.
UPS said that your delivery should ve tomorrow...let me know.
How thrilling to find something like that on the curb. Here in small town MS you would never find antything like that. I think everyone here would have the same idea...lol...flowers. I have one in my front yard that belonged to my kids. I fill it with different size clay pots full of ferns, geraniums and biddy'n'hens.
I sure wish I could find something like that on the curb.
LOVE FINDING TREASURES LIKE THAT.

I still have my kids wagon that size. It is filled with pots of flowers in the summer. You did a great job painting it! What a great find!

I have one like that in my yard that we planted flowers in. Mine is still red but I love the aged white on yours! Great find!

Lucky you, we were in Cracker Barrel tonight and they had one hanging from the ceiling and I told my husband that I needed that for my porch to fii full of gerainums. Glad for you for your exciting find.
Love wagons, they are so useful in the garden. I never had one as a child but now I have three! ~Jacque
Rescuing so-called trash is the very best bargain there is!!!
Just got up and saw this cutie!!! I LOVE IT !!!!!
Great find-I love curb side junk. One time my daughter and I were coming home and I saw a small ladder on the side of the road I made a quick turn around and pulled over for her to get out. She was freaking out and I said I'll blow the horn so everyone will look if you don't hurry up. She was having a melt down because of the cob webs on the bottom. I finally pulled over and put it in the trunk. I painted it burgandy and stenciled a star on each step that was my first sell at our craft show. LOL. She never let me off the hook for that one.
